Missions is a big part MountyChurch’s DNA. We love to see the good news of Jesus shared locally, regionally and globally. We currently support numerous international missionaries and organisations as well as local missions. Click on the logo's to find our more about the organisations.

How can you be involved?
Pray: Commit to specifically pray for a mission and ask to receive regular updates and prayer points. View the mission map in the church foyer to see the organisations and people we currently support.

Live: See yourself as an integral part of MountyChurch's mission, and look for opportunities to influence your world for Jesus. Speak up for those who can't speak for themselves, consume ethically and raise awareness of the realities that are happening in this world.

Mounty supports the work of Baptist World Aid in Lebanon, by contributing to the provision of emergency food supplies and winterisation kits (blankets, heaters etc), and in the provision of education and training for Syrian refugee children and adults.

International Justice Mission works all around the world to free people trapped in modern day slavery. A Mission Freedom Group is based at Mounty to raise awareness of the work of IJM, to pray and to fundraise

We are partnered with Paul and Jenni, who work with Wycliffe in Chad in translation and IT support.

We are partnered with Power to Change by supporting Lucas and Nicole as they strive to fulfill the vision statement "it's our vision that no university student in WA would graduate without having heard a compelling presentation of the gospel as modelled in community".

Bible Society Australia exists to impact and influence Australia and the World by Opening the Bible to all people everywhere by all means possible. Mounty supports translation, publication and audio recording of the Bible into the heart language of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, with a priority to the Noongar People in WA.

Opportunity International Australia is ending poverty in developing countries – one family and one community at a time. Mounty supports the provision of small loans to families in need, helping women grow their own businesses and generate sustainable incomes, thereby creating a new future for generations to come.
