Children are an important and valued part of the church family and they are cared for by a committed team of staff and volunteers who help them explore and learn about God.
Our Mounty Kids teams enjoy hanging out with young people and encouraging their abilities so that each one can learn about and live out God’s values. There’s action, fun, mess, space for thinking and growing together.
Safety
The safety of children is of the highest priority. Every person who works with children, whether Mounty Church staff or volunteers, must have a current Working with Children Card issued by the Department of Child Protection, and a Police Clearance. Our leaders also receive ongoing training in relation to safety procedures concerning children as per the national Safe Church standard.
Activities
Our Sunday morning services include:
Parent’s Lounge with CCTV, for those with children aged 0 – 2 years old Dedicated children’s room for Toddlers: 2 – 3 years old Pre Primary Group: 4 – 5 years old Primary Group: Years 1 – 6 Children attend the first part of the service with their parents before heading out to their own fun time together.
